The Right Fantasy game for you?

Everyone has their own specific needs when playing fantasy baseball. Beyond just the basic 5 x 5 roto game, some want a detail oriented highly statistically integrated game that uses all forms of hitting, along with some pitching stats beyond the typically used wins, saves and maybe strikeouts. What if you could play a game with detailed hitting stats along with pitching details that really made it seem real? Daily game play, lefty and right matchups if that’s your thing, and pitchers (starters and relievers) that actually are judged on innings pitched as well as runs allowed? Well, there is a game for that! It suits the needs of the rabid fantasy fan that wants more than the basics, and it’s offered in different versions to accommodate not only the serious fan, but the casual fan as well. What game is this? It’s Baseball Manager! Only Baseball Manager offers a manager daily game head to head play, lefty/right matchups, tons of hitting categories that are used to formulate the runs scored and a pitching formula that makes you pitch 8 or 9 innings, incorporating relief pitchers to fill the gaps left by your starter. It’s as close to real managing of a baseball team as you can get. I’ve played Baseball Manager for 20 years, and even after all that time I’m still as excited about it this upcoming season as I’ve ever been. All different games within BBM use the detailed GRF (game resolution formula) which incorporates times on base, total bases, stolen bases, sacrifices, hitting into a double plays, base on balls, etc., and calculates the runs your team scores in an incredibly realistic manner. For pitching you have to actually have relief pitchers on your team to fill the innings remaining when your starter leaves the game. Not just a closer to credit your team with a save. Now, that’s realistic. You need a middle reliever in real life, a setup man and a closer. Such is the case in BBM (baseball manager). If you want to have to set up your lineup based on lefty/righty matchups then the ultimate game would be for you. If you’re not quite that crazy and want the detail of the hitting stats and pitching pieces, without the lefty/righty matchups complications then you can play the Express version. Something for everyone with extreme realism in all game versions. If you want to enter a progression system which is basically just a ladder league system where the best managers move up to play at a higher level the next season then baseball manager offers The Pinetar Experience, which is the ladder system that plays under the baseball manager umbrella. Don’t miss out on the best fantasy experience of your lifetime. Check out baseballmanager.com for details and then check out www.pinetar.org if a ladder league fits your needs. Hope to see you on the field in 2012!

Must say, if your a diehard fantasy player and looking for the most realistic game out on the net—it’s baseballmanager.

Hand’s down, it offers more real time like managing then any other game available to fantasy ballers.

Check out baseballmanager.com, and see what ya’ll think. So glad I found it.

Most of the managers I know have been playing BBM for a decade or two. I’m excited because I’ve seen managers looking to come into BBM. We added a newbie last season to the Rounders.

I’ve received a lot more emails lately from potential new managers as well. Many of them wanting to know if Pinetar accepts newbies. I explain that BBM has an enrollment system for progression now and then steer them to the DC for help learning the game specifics. The managers on the DC are a wealth of information and experience.

I miss the DC! Hope it’s back up soon, or that people get active on blogs like this. Meanwhile, I’ll throw out a “GOOD LUCK” to everyone whose league games begin tonight.
